Our excellent Verdelho is created from grapes from a plot located in the lower parts of Quinta do Quetzal, in more fertile and fresher lands. Grapes are hand-picked and cooled 24 hours before being processed naturally by gravity in our modern winery. A true Verdelho experience.

Vinification

The grapes were hand-picked as they mature. After crushed, the resulting must undergoed 48 to 72 hours of static clarification. The fermentation took place in new French oak barrels followed by 6 months with “batônnage” from 14ºC to 16ºC of temperature during 30 days.

Cellaring Potential

Immediately or up in a cool and shaded place.

Tasting Note

The shows a citric color with kiwi and matured fruit aromas, together with toasty dries fruit aromas from the oak resting. In the mouth its complex and fresh with a nice mineral acidity.

Pairing Suggestions

Its structure allows it to accompany white meats, complex and exquisite oven-baked fish dishes and dry cheeses.
