Our terms of dispatch and deliveries Shipments and Deliveries/Surveys at Quinta do Quetzal Physical Store
For orders to be sent to the desired address, the address that you defined as the delivery address when registering or that you added later in Your Account must be selected. Alternatively, you should choose the option “Create a New Address” and properly fill in the “New Address” form.
In general, after dispatch, an order at Quinta do Quetzal takes a long time to be delivered:
- 24 to 72 hours in mainland Portugal;
- Between 3 to 5 working days in Madeira and Azores islands; (available soon)
After the orders are dispatched, the information for monitoring the shipment will be available in the account of customers who have placed the order with registration and a notification is also sent via email with the information on the link for monitoring the shipment to all registered customers and not registered.
If for any reason the customer does not receive the shipment confirmation, he should contact Quinta do Quetzal through one of the following contacts (firstname.lastname@example.org or 284 441 618) so that all available information about the shipment will be sent again of the order.
After notification of shipment, customers must monitor the status of the shipment through the link provided by Quinta do Quetzal, so that they are aware of the status of progress until the time of delivery of the order, since Quinta do Quetzal does not notify the each shipment status change.
All products shipped by Quinta do Quetzal must be checked upon delivery.
If the customer finds that the order is damaged, he/she must immediately return it to the transport company, duly justify the reason for the return on the carrier’s delivery note and immediately notify Quinta do Quetzal through one of the following contacts (onlinestore @quintadoquetzal.com or 284 441 618).
If, after delivery, the customer finds that any of the items is not in compliance, he is asked to contact Quinta do Quetzal immediately through the email email@example.com indicating the order number or the document number that accompanied the order, attaching images of the package as it was received and of all the items, so that the process of investigation of the occurrence can be opened internally and, in this way, the situation can be resolved as soon as possible.
Quinta do Quetzal will only sell its products online exclusively for the Portuguese market, so if it is verified that a delivery address that is located outside the Portuguese national territory is submitted during the checkout process, this order will be immediately canceled and the cancellation will be immediately communicated to the customer.
Quinta do Quetzal has contracted service with a specialized carrier for the purposes of deliveries in Portugal.
Every effort is made to comply with shipping and delivery deadlines, however, it should be noted that possible delays in deliveries may be unrelated to Quinta do Quetzal, and in these cases it is not possible to guarantee exact delivery times.
Most deliveries are made during office hours on working days at the delivery address indicated by the customer when placing the order.
In the event of an unsuccessful delivery attempt by the transport company due to absence, a ticket is always left in the customer’s mailbox with the carrier’s information.
Depending on the service and the carrier, the orders must be collected at the place indicated by the same in the notice of passage, or the instructions requested in the same notice must be followed.
If for any reason the customer cannot receive the order or pick it up at the place indicated by the carrier, the customer is asked to contact Quinta do Quetzal so that together they can find the most suitable solution.
Before submitting the order, if the customer intends to pick up the order at our Physical Store, he must select the shipping option “In-Store Pickup” – the Quinta do Quetzal Store in Estrada das Sesmarias, Apartado 19 – 7960-909 will be automatically taken over Vidigueira.
- The person whose name is described in the purchase order will only be authorized to pick up the order, unless they notify Quinta do Quetzal in advance that another person (identifying the name) will pick up the order.
- Orders for in-store pickup may take 1 business day to be processed, all customers are notified via email when they are available for collection.
- When going to the physical premises of Quinta do Quetzal, the customer must accompany the confirmation/order number, ensuring that they have received our order confirmation notification available for collection, and thus avoid unnecessary travel.
- The opening hours of the physical store at Quinta do Quetzal are as follows: Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday – from 10:00h to 18:00h; Friday and Saturday – from 10:00 am to 10:00 pm; Monday and Tuesday – Closed.
